14. My First One

Remember that one day MI want to try doing cross stitch too, besides crochet? I said that in my post here.

Well, right now MI 'doggingly' doing my first one.

The pattern above MI bought from this shop that I posted about here. Cheap, it only cost me RM8.50, including a cross stitch as well.
I want to buy one pattern first and give myself a try.

It is fun and leaves me not aware of time :)

But my effort is only up to here just yet...

See....

Any cross stitch experts who can give me some tips here? :D

Do wish me luck!

Till then,

Love,
Mak isah.

13. My Pineapple Doilies' Pattern

Thank you Lady Willow for commenting about my Pineapple Doilies.

At your request, here I post the pattern ( I hope you can read it) as my book is an old one.

The Pattern :)

The pattern is from this old book of mine which I bought many many years ago. I think nowadays they do not produce this type of crochet books anymore. I wish they did though, because the patterns in here are so easy to follow.

I find it is much faster to read the pattern rather than read the instructions.

So, if anyone know if there is still this type of crochet books selling, please do let me know :D

Have a good Sunday Everyone!

Till then,

Love,
Mak isah.

12. Motifs

I am slowwwlyyy doing this motif at the moment. Like a snail he he...but hopefully 'akan siap untuk Hari Raya tahun hadapan, mana la tau!

This motif is easy to crochet and simple to join. I am doing it in white, for the coffee table at the sitting room.

The motifs are joined like this...

I tried it in green...not bad

The picture in the book is using yellow for this pattern

BTW, this is the pattern for this motif. I hope you can follow it too :)

Good Luck!

Till then,

With love,
Mak isah.

11. Pineapple Doilies

Pineapple doilies are one of my favorites. I crochet two of them of the same pattern just before last Hari Raya Puasa.

I made use of them during Hari Raya to decorate one of my table shelves. One to cover over it.
Like this....

And the other one to cover my bread toaster which I placed near it.

See...

I was happy with my work :D

Till then,

Love,
Mak isah.
