11. Pineapple Doilies

Pineapple doilies are one of my favorites. I crochet two of them of the same pattern just before last Hari Raya Puasa.

I made use of them during Hari Raya to decorate one of my table shelves. One to cover over it.

And the other one to cover my bread toaster which I placed near it.

10. My First Try

How's this for my first try (I crochet other things but not this) on a cap (kopiah) for Alif, my grandson? :)

In the midst of being busy preparing for Noormy's (my youngest daughter) engagement ceremony next month, I stole some time to crochet this cap. I know the color is off, especially for a boy, but that was one thread that a buddy blogger gave me. A little present from Usrafatihah to Mak isah.

09. My Gear Stand Cover

Since coming back from Kuching I have been trying to find time to crochet this. Finally! finished it yesterday afternoon and now it stands over my car's gear stand he he..



Do you like it? Cute eh :)

I chose that color because that green wool thread is finishing and green is the color of my car :P

08. A Gift

This crochet cover is a gift given to me by a dear blogger buddy Usrahfatihah when I met her in Kuching during my last visit. It was our first personal meeting and she already gave me this!

She called it a 'Pineapple Pouch' & it fitted remarkably with my drinking water flash (the green one)























And now it stands in my show cupboard where I placed my collections of 'Coca-cola' & Mugs. See? :)

07. Another Crochet Thing

This box has become one of my 'Crochet things' because now I can use it to put my thread and crochet hook. And I can bring it up in my room or down stair in my kitchen and crochet in between the time while waiting for my washing machine to do it's work :)

It was hubby's birthday cake box which I kept and the other day while looking at it I thought why don't I decorate it a bit so I can store my crochet things in it.

I spent my Sunday afternoon decorating it. The end result was not very good as I am not an expert at this but I think it will do he he...

My Crochet Box


















The cover looks so cute :) I've pasted 2 cartoon rabbits on it, I think Alif will be so excited to see them when he sees the box.


















Actually it was just a Ma Baker Cake Box. It looked like this before I wrapped old magazines on it.



















It is shapped like a hexagon so I have to wrap it section by section.



















What I need was some gum, a cutter and some colorful magazines which I cut them up.




So my box wasn't wasted after all!
